London 2010 Festival of Stamps is a year-long extravaganza of exhibitions and events to mark the centenary of the accession of George V, the stamp collector King.

The Festival will include a major international stamp exhibition at the Business Design Centre, Islington, and an exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery focussing on communications design during the reign of George V. These will be complemented by a year-long programme of exhibitions and other cultural events, aimed at all ages, in museums and galleries across London.

Partner venues include the British Museum, the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum and many others.

The Festival will extend nationally by means of activities run in conjunction with local stamp clubs, aimed at celebrating and raising public awareness of British stamp design and postal heritage.
